Our one goal is to be worshippers. As an overflow of that worship, we hope to effectively lead others into the presence of God, where we all can respond to His greatness and glory, be intimately touched by His nearness, and be powerfully changed into His likeness.

The Salt Company's new creative ministry team is called Kerusso. The name comes from a Greek word in the New Testament that means "to blow the trumpet" or "to herald." We want to bring people together from the sea of talented Salt students to participate in using our gifts in creative ways to engage the culture and impact the students of Iowa State.
Major focuses within Kerusso: Graphics, Video, Web, Photography, Journalism, and Advertising
This group has the green light to dream up and initiate new projects. Anything from a revamped version of fmylife.com to an interactive art display on campus to video promos for Anthem. Please join the Facebook group or email Lance if you would like to get connected.

The Philanthropy team, better known as the action! team comes from Micah 6:8, where Micah tells us, "He has showed you, O man, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God". We want to serve God with our hearts and minds, but also with our hands and feet. The action! team initiative is to enable every single TSC Connection Group to do a service project each semester. We also will have periodic large scope projects for everyone to participate in once a semester. From the trash we pick on the ISU campus, to the food that is collected for the homeless, may the light of Christ shine in our deeds.

The emphasis on hospitality in the biblical church model is unmistakable: in order to thrive as a community that loves Christ and one another, it must be a key attribute. It is indispensable as a part of the witness of our lives and the welcome extended by our ministry.
The area of event planning covers a wide range of ways you can participate including administration, coordination, set-up, tear-down and overall organization of the event. Yet, this list is not exclusive. If you desire to be a part of a TSC in a different capacity we can probably find a spot for you!
