Jesus said that he didn't come to be served but to serve (see Mark 10:45). He was spent for us and showed us that life is not about us or becoming the greatest in the world's eyes by acheiving some lofty or personal, academic, athletic, corporate, or financial goal. Life is about serving others. It's about connecting with God and doing what he says. Jesus taught that the way up is down. The last shall be first.
